GRETSCH RENOWN MAPLE - Floating Studio Collection

Performed by drummer Pierre Tredoux on a Gretsch Renown Maple drum kit and recorded / edited to academic standards, this sample collection was recorded in "The Submarine" - an asymetrical, quadrilateral Floating studio in the Stellenbosch Konservatorium - and are branded the "wet" collection of the projec: all stereo samples are a blend of direct, overhead and room microphones.

This particular collection is the main one of five products, produced in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the degree of Master of Philosophy in Music Technology in the Faculty of Arts, University of Stellenbosch (April 2004).
