When singer/songwriter/poet/preacher and friend, Jandré aka "Vanuitstof", approached me to help make this record, there was a ring of familiarity to what was proposed.. couple of songs, small band of brothers, acoustic instruments, Karoo skies..

But when we arrived to the old farm house, with huge open spaces, no internet, Karoo silence.. we managed to engange with the basic rules of trusting our musical gutt and not overthinking anything. And eleven songs were born in 5 days. Every one of them resting uncomfortably in the objective of protraying the 'dissonance' we all live with..

Here is our honest take on it.
